There is a detailed three tier process to select startups for investment:
Step 1:
We have a deal sourcing team that sources startups from our extensive network. They complete the initial screening of the startup company and also meet the founding team. Depending on the type of business (B2B or B2C), evaluation occurs across various parameters.
Step 2:
If the company is shortlisted, then our research team gets involved. They also meet the founding team and conduct further analysis.
Step 3:
Company is presented to our Investment Committee. Different members of the Investment Committee arrive with varied expertise and experience to evaluate a startup company. Post scrutiny of the investment committee, the company is showcased to our investors.
Only 5% of the companies that are a part of our pipeline are presented to our investors.
